Restylane® Kysse is a lip filler specially formulated for natural looking lip movements and enhanced flexibility.
What is Restylane® Kysse
Restylane® Kysse is an FDA approved lip filler that is hyaluronic acid based. It’s one of the newer fillers on the market and boasts Restylane’s XpresHAn technology (more on that below). Hyaluronic acid is a naturally occurring substance that can be found in all living cells. The use of hyaluronic acid is meant mimic substances already found in your body. It’s present in all cells and in fluids such as in the eyes and joints. The filler is injected in lips to increase volume and plumpness, reduce lip lines and enhance lip texture and your smile.
Why Choose Restylane® Kysse
The difference between Kysse and other lip fillers is Kysse is specially formulated for movement of the lips in order to maintain natural facial expressions and appearance. Restylane achieves this through their XpresHAn technology that creates a more elastic gel that moves with the lip muscles when they flex. The flexibility and light viscousness of the gel allows for natural smiles and natural movement when speaking, eating or laughing. It also creates a softer volume which has a more natural appearance than other fillers. Another feature of the filler is that the manufacturer boasts that 15% less gel is required to achieve the same results as other fillers, so the filler has a more lightweight application than some of the other products on the market.

What is the difference between Restylane® Kysse and Juvederm® Ultra XC?
Both products are hyaluronic acid fillers and both last up to a year. Ultra XC is a thicker gel that may result in a firmer lip and is great for those seeking volume and pillowy pout. It also has lidocaine added to it to numb any soreness associated with the treatment (in addition to the lidocaine we use for injections). Restylane® Kysse is formulated for natural looking volume and dynamic facial expressions with the flexible gel moving with your lip muscles.
