WHAT IS BOTOX©

BOTOX© is a purified toxin that is produced by a bacterium called Clostridium botulinum. BOTOX© is given in very small doses by injection into specific muscle groups, which causes a temporary paralysis of these muscles. In other words, the muscles stop moving and the resulting frown lines disappear.

HOW CAN IT HELP ME?

Frown lines in the forehead, between the eyes, crow's feet and many other expression lines in the face have always been difficult to treat surgically. With BOTOX©, we have the ability to directly inject the muscles that cause these lines and correct or improve the problem.

ARE BOTOX© TREATMENTS PERMANENT?

BOTOX© begins to work within a few days of treatment and the effects last anywhere between three to five months. The treatment can be repeated as desired to maintain the effects.
